We had the best time on Riptide with Captain McKenna! We took a group of 10 friends out at the end of May, and the whole experience was so much fun from start to finish. The boat is beautiful, super fast, and the sound system was way better than we expected. Everything was organized, relaxed, and we never felt rushed.
We booked the 6-hour island charter for our family of six and it was the highlight of our Santa Barbara trip. Captain McKenna was outstanding — professional, calm, and she did everything to make sure we were having fun and comfortable the entire day. We anchored in a beautiful cove at Santa Cruz Island and spent the day swimming, snorkeling in crystal-clear water, and paddleboarding.
Highly recommend Coastal Explorers! We went out with Danny on the Riptide and had an incredible time. We planned to cruise along the channel islands, but with countless dolphins and humpbacks in the channel, we made it a quick trip to the islands then back out for more marine life!
